Hello all, I am as you can see fairly new to this form so far I <3 it since I've found out that I can modify my xmb theme.
The tutorial from robs helped me alot http://endlessparadigm.com/forum/showthr...p?tid=7176
I've been playing with different customizations until today. I recieved this "cyclic redundancy" Message, so I searched online and found out that it is an "out of space" error message. well even trying to install any other xmb's gave me the same problem. Short of pandoring my psp I decided to restore my original backup of flash 0 (as sugested by robs in his tutorial) but I restored by deleting each folder manualy then copying back to flash0 the folder of my backup. I figured the worst could happen I brick and have to use pandora to fix.
Well doing this has fixed the problem. :D so ty once again robs for sugesting a full backup of flash0 to start off.
I thought to post this for anyone else who had this error message as a search didn't pull up any sugestions besides pandoring the firmware.
My guess would be that some custom xmb's don't use "all" the same files when creating or adding and when just copying a new one to flash0 not all files from the old file are deleted. (Just a hypothetical guess, it explains alot).
Anyway Thank you once again Robs for your nice tutorial,
Derek
