well if ur stupid (not aimed at you) and when it asks u if you want to install the thrid party software or sponser software and u accept then obviously you leave your self open to attack, just don't accept the software it will install msn plus without it, i have been using msn plus for about 2 years now and not had one problem.
Messenger Live Plus is the best there is, don't accept anything less.

If You Do .. You're At Risk

It Might Seem Like A Handy File
But In The Background It Creates Files
Which Start To Spread Around Your System
And Deleting Important Files Or Insert Viruses Into Them
So The Nest Time You Open That File Your Computer Will Have Been Infected

No Need To Put Capital Letters At The Start Of Every Word.

This is a load of spoon.

I've used MSN Plus for ages. No problems.
McAfee is a pile of fap, period.

McAfee is a virus, clogs up your system, doesn't work right, kills your PC when you try and remove it.

Indeed, you read my mind man. How you read the mind of Jesus?
You are worthy to follow me.
Yeah, I've been using it for the last few months, and absolutely nothing is wrong with my computer. I scan once a day, and never have I seen any red flags other than some keygens I might have at that given time. The only way MSN will give you viruses is if you open those IM's that say something like "Take a look at my new Myspace pics! Do you think they look good?" then prompt you to download an executable. I highly doubt the millions of people that are using MSN plus would be doing so if you got viruses from Microsoft's webpage. Try not being an idiot while browsing the internet and checking the integrity of the sites where you get your programs.
