I find this weird. I downloaded Hit 'EM by Zion I, and it plays fine with VLC. However, on the PSP it shows up corrupted. (I tried it in Beats as well, same thing) Any reason behind :p ?

I might try checking what codec the file is compressed with. Usually different programs will play different files depending on what codecs are native to the program.
Of course I don't really know much about sound files, but If I had to guess that might be it.

What file type is it? Try re-encoding it.
Chances are, the audio data is all there - probably some messed up headers/ID3 tags or something.

VLC does play incomplete files... Maybe it canceled at like the last 2 seconds or something.
