that the dumbest thing ive seen in awhile lol... what is sony thinking? if sony would acctually listen to us then hacking wouldnt be as big of a problem as it is... really the only thing they care about is iso piracy... i doubt seriously they care about themes and such..... they tryed to give us themes with the ptf thing but that was a big fail... i agree that DA has helped the sales of the psp console alot... 3 of my friends bought one because i have one and i showed them what could be done with it.... umds sales are a different story... i think they should make better games... psp does have alot of good games but not nearly as many as the ps2 or the DS even.... and they should have more psp only games instead of porting them all to the ps2.... what reason do you have to buy a psp if you just wait a few months and pick up the same games for ps2? actually last month the psp out sold ever single other console in japan
agree.
anyone know where i can find that questionairre so i can fill it out just to lemonade off $ony.
if wee were to give positive answers maybe sony would legalize homebrew. 'custom' firmware would be released with games. everybody will have hacked psp's
FUCK THAT!!!!!!!!!
Holy shit that is one suggestive survey right there, double you tee eff. Sony fuck off.
I don't know what sony's problem is.... 3 of my friends have bought a psp just becuase of hacks. And Sony probably made lots of money by the hacks.
feinicks Wrote:well I'll answer:
1) Rebel? what a cheesy question? What is so rebellious about it?
2) Impresses Others... yeah Noobs. Real people EXPECT you to know how to hack it. (occasional things not included)
3) Get away with it. LMAO! Yup! cause the InterPol has bugged the PSP and tracks people down if they hack it!
4) Obviously... first real question . A straight 6/5.
5) Damn rite. I'd like to see anyone come and tell me to stop. another 7/5.
6) Read #3 score: -10
7) Till some extent... as long as it doesn't promote piracy... so 3.
8) Outsmart? No... improvize! 1
9) the noobiest question of the millennium. score: -infinity
10) Sort of... but wee already know the way round.. 2
11) a straight 5/5
12) me and others.... (i'd be amazing if DAX was actually a Sony Developer) 5.
Nice i agree with all of that.
by the way the first question is the dumbest of them all.

I'm not sure... I think "I won't get caught hacking my PSP" may be as dumb. Are some people really going to strongly disagree with this? Are they looking out the window while they are hacking their PSP, watching for any Sony employees? Maybe they should have phrased it differently. Like I said, it sounds like they are sure no one will catch them in the middle of the act of hacking it.
hmm i might fill it out

3.542769876235/5
4. not to SEE if i can get away with it, i KNOW i can get away with it, theres no law against psp hacking
5.143/5
6.whoa the big question. i bought it, what does sony care after that? they already have my money. hmmm yes yes and yes. five ba jillion squillion out of five
7. whos gonna catch me? no ones spying on me
8. it wouldnt matter if i hardly ever use it, i'd hack it anyway
9. what is morally wrong with it???
10. im not really outsmarting them. DAX is
11. why did they need to ask this one??
12. what technical risk? it makes it better. and legally? are they gonna sue me??
13. i dunno
14. why/howcome the developers don't want it to do all that it can? wheres the logic??
honestly what does sony think they are gonna gain from this?
double you tee eff? That's one of the crappiest surveys I've ever seen.
Seriously, are they acting stupid or what? If they want an honest opinion, there's this big resource out there known as the "internet", and if you bothered to look around, I think the answers would be right there.
(though a poo poo survey like that probably wouldn't have cost that much to make anyway)
The questions seem to be aimed (and trying to slightly persuade) at people with the mentality of 6 year olds or something...
Though if the aim of the survey was to try and see if PSP hacking is "fashionable", then I guess it serves its purpose. Maybe they're trying some new market strategy?
Where's the link to the actual survey?
..."Hacking a PSP makes me feel like a rebel"... like wtf? Sounds like a question a 12yo would think up.
