anyone know why toyota isn't selling any of these in the US.

I would sure love one. Its like a V8 Taco.

I currently have a 96 tacoma 4wd and im trying to make it look like this:

you mean Hilux, its an awesome truck, its a bit more tricked out than the tacoma, and its true its not sold in the US, but it is sold in Mexico, you can prolly import one easily (i wouldn't know how to start though check this out for startes), though I'm not gonna lie to you I'm not a big fan of the newer hiluxes, especially that one, though the v8 does sound appealing, well if you have a tacoma i'd say you're better off, it'll be nice if you can get it to look like that black one

* Incadude gets a ticket for Mexico.

I guess buying one in Mexico would be easy. (Now how could i hide it from customs...)

they probably don't sell it in hte US due to stricter gun laws seeing as how theres a gun rack on the back

ROFL...i keed i keed...more likely its because of emissions problems...which is the same reason Land Rover doesn't sell any diesel in the US...even though the diesel models of trucks are WAY more powerful and get 2-3x more miles per gallon.

prolly... maybe the authorities don't think its cool for ppl to be riding in a truck with guns randomly popping out... I mean what if a 3rd grader gets hold of this?

yeah, i think you mount the gun yourself, since aussies are avid gunsmiths, anyways they've never said as to why the hilux model was discontinued in the US

I found out why they're not released in the US. Its because toyota doesn't want the Hilux to compete with Tundra sales.

yes wee know about top gear, well i do, i love the ones where they TRY to destroy one of these old hiluxes, its funneh in the end, the chassis is holding the frame together haha!

that truck is the one they used
