there are normal tutorials to make themes and seperate ones for positions of icons,waves etc. but they should get you started anything else just ask around here and schmilk when hes online

Go to the power tools and get the program resursiklunssi then put it on your psp to uncompress the rco files.
I don't know much about prx editing though, so sorry.

Yeah, I tried searching for the tutorials and found one done by ORGAN and I'm guessing he did the ORGAN theme? So anywho, I tried watching the videos but every 2 seconds it stops O.o and I am not that smart in following word directions for stuff like this...*sigh*...time to go on a youtube search.
EDIT: They do it on youtube aswell, man this stinks....I guess I'm going to have to follow a word tutorial lol

That's true... But I'm sort of wierd about my psp.
I would use other people's OS file on my computer so I won't use other people's Kernel files for my psp

Its the same general Idea for all firmwares, if you know what your doing.
If you don't know what your doing you might want to read up a little more.
I'm like you, I like to jump into things but a 250$ useless black screen just isn't worth it.
