That wouldn't actually be FF7. Just based on FF7. So it wouldn't count. Like how FF-Last Order doesn't count.

then i can't see it working, theres too many slow bits in the story, it would be all filler..

They would just need to cut out/quickly summarize some of the things (like the slow bits you mention). Don't need to include every detail, just the general flow will do.

Think the Tales of Phantasia animation, long RPG --» 4 episode OVA.

Every game that gets an anime series often ends being really bad.

Samurai Spirits, Salamander, Fatal Fury, Street Fighter, Final Fantasy...

hmmm..... I think the legacy of kain series (complete with proper ending of course) would make quite a unique and interesting anime, if done properly. The brother battles would be the most intense...

i could actually See a Kain anime, although i would prefer manga for that i think...

Grand theift auto would be badass...
