I was truly caught up with this, and I won't be letting it go for a long time, Clannad was that good, and now that wee know it will continue and conclude after an OVA - which wee only know as "Episode 24" for now, will be released with a Clannad DVD on July 16th, 2008!!
Here is the 15-Second Teaser for the Second Season of Clannad called "Clannad After Story"
Some of you might know what occurs in the Novel and/or the After Story portion of the original Clannad Game, which "Clannad After Story" will most likely be based off.
Heres the info you'll find on a bunch of Info Site for Clannad, it'll kinda spoil the future of the story, but it can't really spoil the true turn out of the story, up to you if you want to read this Spoiler.

Spoiler for Another Spoiler, Might Upset You as its pretty sad:
Nagisa falls ill after giving birth to Ushio...
...and later, dies.
This deeply saddens Tomoya to the point he gave up raising Ushio and left her to the care of Akio and Sanae. Tomoya resorts to alcohol and cigarettes to ease depression.
Spoiler for Final, Not Ending Story Spoiler:
Five years later, Sanae arranges Tomoya and Ushio for a trip in hope for them to be together again.
During the trip, Tomoya meets his grandmother, Shino and learns about his father's past that leads to him regretting his actions, and decides to raise Ushio and acknowledge Naoyuki as his father.
Unfortunately, Ushio is struck with the same disease as Nagisa not long after this event.
In the coming winter, wanting to do anything for Ushio, Tomoya brings Ushio for a trip, but Ushio fell unconscious and dies shortly after, and presumably Tomoya dies.
Wanting to save themselves from this tragic fate, Ushio becomes the girl in the illusionary world, calling garbage doll (Tomoya) to collect the happiness around the city to create a miracle and save Nagisa and themselves.
From here on, I'm assuming you HAVE READ THE ABOVE SPOILERS.
Lets discuss our views and hopes for the future of this story.
I hope a miracle happens, I really, really do... watching the story in motion is going to be real sad

"Haruhi's Second Anime" will be Kyoto Animations next project to air - which will then be followed by Clannad After Story
