I watch Anime because, to me at least, is the most valuably enjoyable form of Televisual Motion Picture Entertainment that exists.

I don't care how far out they go.

The Stories are incredibly well written, and the drawing can vary, but created to the extent appropriate at best.

It can cause emotion, which is its ultimatum as an artificial creation.

Animated Pictures to be able to create emotions - that is its utmost value when it is of its best.

I extremely appreciate, Anime for what it is, an unreal realism of which anything can happen, but in a contempt wee could understand, enjoy and feel over.

From the sublime, to the ridiculous, the different genres have their own incredible spectrum's that are explored because they can be.

It might sound over the top, but THAT IS MY Reason.

That's why I watch Anime!

Yeah Anime isn't just a cartoon. It's like any normal program. Anyone can watch it and most of the time it is actually better than real TV. And just to ask, what anime have you actually seen??? You can have ANYTHING in it!!!!!

I haven't seen too much Anime, but I know of more b/c of other ppl.

I watch/have watched:

Ghost In The Shell, Ghost In The Shell 2: Innocence, GITS SAC 1 & 2, Solid State Society and now Appleseed (EX Machina). Basically, I love art/anime based on the works of Masamune. ;)

I've heard of:

Ronma 1/2, Evangelion, The Melancholy of Haruhi xxx (only recently though), and some others I can't think of right off b/c I don't watch them.

Why I watch Anime: Um... B/c it's good stuff. I love Anime and I'm very fortunate that when I was in the Military, the group of friends I was hanging out with at the time asked me if I had seen any GITS. I said no, they told me I should watch, so I did. I'm glad I listened. I keep watching Anime b/c there's nothing like it.

wow I didnt expect such truthful answers... I know that behind the mask of mockery every one feels the same way. Who doesn't get involved while watching anime? When you are watching ..say Bleach.. everyone, at point, wants to be a shinigami..

I watch anime because in imagination I can be anything or anyone (as childish as it may sound). Anime are a tribute to imagination.

I remember :quite embarrassingly: that I would get so involved with DBZ and alll the action anime that I'd feel real low that I couldnt jump about like them... lol
