That's really good value (plus very reliable) but it's $5/month (a little too much for me) and kinda unnecessary. 5GB space will be enough.
I still think 1&1 is good enough. Also considering GoDaddy, but for the slight extra cost (+$0.2/mo. + $2 domain), I don't seem to really get anything that I need.

No need - 1&1 will be good enough unless I somehow need more than 100MB of SQL space.

1&1 is really good. Ive had no problems with it so far. I got the beginner package for 2.99 a month. It comes with one free domain.
