Well, I'm sure you've seen some show/movie where someone somehow ends up in another person's body.
One common thing though, is that, although they are in a different body, they retain their voice (as well as their brain).
If such a thing really happened, do you think that they'd keep their voice?
Discuss.
hmmm..id say no because wouldnt they have the other persons vocal chords?
this is only if there personality and soul (dunno if soul fits here) was switched.

Eh, I got over that long ago. It annoyed me the first few times, but you got to just let it go. What I couldn't understand was when they changed bodies with the opposite sex. Did they keep their old hormones? Did they now feel attracted to the opposite sex? Or even more important, why don't they try out the new body? I know I would...
^ Actually, time travel probably bothers me more.
This thread is simply the meaning on the \/oid.
anyway, i think their voice should change and travelling backwards in time in my opinion is impossible.
what you happen to a transexual then?
They are divided by 0, cease to exist in the timestream.
yeah that pisses me off, its such an unlikely scenario, and to have the voice is just beyond ridiculous
wait... is anyone thinking what I'm thinking? zinga are talking about yourself? so then are you a man trapped in a woman's body? or is it the other way around... reveal yourself zinga!
Bah, time travel scenarios in movies are even more annoying. However, I do like it when they go to great lengths trying to appease the critical mind. Only problem I have is when they screw up trying to fix everything. The problem then is that they know they aren't allowed to go back again and try to fix it this time, because they didn't see themselves helping the first time they went back in time. There had to be a certain point at which things intersect before they diverge, like it is shown in Back to the Future. Eh, I should just post my old Science Project paper on how time travel worked in movies. Wee had an entire semester of studying "time" in the Honors Program. Wee studied it in all subjects: physics, mathematics, poetry, english, music, psychology... everything. Ah, that was a fun semester ^^
I think the voice changes mainly just to show the viewer.
I think you wouldn't keep your vocal chords, but you would keep your accent.
As for hormones, If I recall correctly, aren't they released to the brain periodically? If so, initially, you'd have the same thoughts, but it may change over time.
Anyways, these sorts of things typically happen in comedy movies, so maybe, the "man's voice from a woman's body" is meant to spice things up a little?
