What was the Avatar for again?

As lots of people have pointed out, it could be due to the avatar. Not just for having a girl in your avatar/sig .., I think it's more the fact that your avatars/sigs (Organic Beauty Sig as an example), are pink and soft.

And your name involves "Sakura", which is a girl's name in Japanese.

As with sparker, I think, one big factor is posting/having a lot of stuff which could be classified by some people as "cute". In Western society, cute seems to get linked up with girls a lot.

The question which bothers me more is why does it matter so much?


I find it interesting - many people over the internet seem to try to want to build up a profile of the "invisible person" on the other end of the world.  This includes trying to know their age and gender.  I've had at least two dozen people ask me my age and gender - I find it really amusing :P


But anyways, "real" girls don't go as far as what some people do here...  so...  if that's your aim, turn it down a little :P
