I own a psp slim with 3.80 m33-5 on it, but I'm a complete noob.Sadist

I've got a bunch of iso files on the stick but I'm curious, what do I do when I want to get rid of them? Do I just simply delete them on the psp or should I connect the psp to the computer via usb and then delete them on the computer? Also, what can happen if I format my stick? Will I have to re-mod my psp? I'm just curious to know, if when I'm done using all the ISO files that I have, if for some reason I choose to format the memory stick, to get rid of all the music/ISO/pictures on it, is that a bad idea? Should I just keep deleting what I don't want one by one?

Help!! I don't want to go through the trouble of getting it modded or bricking my psp!! Ahh
just simply delete them, you can do it from your psp or computer

it don't matter

if you format your ms it will wipe it clean and put the psp folder tree back to its default..
yeh just delete the formatting wipes everything including your savegames

funnyman

does the formatting also format the memstick boot sector?
or do i have to logically format it with mspformat to
wipe memstick boot sector?
It wipes everything. Including the ipl in the boot sector. (That will mean that the PSP will boot from the nand now)
Demonchild is already at home lol
10 posts and I'm taking a nap on whatever/whoever I find.. If you can't support 90 lbs... Shame.
lol you are a Paradigmian!!!!
I have a 4gb stick and I filled it up to the point where I still had just over 1gb left. Then I deleted two files through the computer and two files simply through the psp but both ways I didn't get any space back. I tried to put on a new ISO file to see if it would deduct space and it did. Now I only have 531mb left and only 2.9gb worth of stuff. My stick holds about 3.9 when completely empty.
Nana-o

Is there anything else I'm supposed to do?
Are you sure the files are actually gone? When you look on the computer are they no longer on the memory stick? Depending on what program you use to delete files they might still be there. For example, some psp programs can't delete read only files. Also, If your on a windows machine (I don't know how to view hidden files on any other OS) I would tell your folder settings to show hidden folders and see if there is anything hidden on there that you don't need.
