Yeah Tex is alright I wish I was in NY or CA. So did you get the CF on your PSP already what version do you have and did you get to add Skype to it too?
I don't have a Slim but I have downgraded my PSP, my bros, about 7 of my friends and I'm gonna be doing another one next week hopefully :)

I firstly downgraded mine before the Pandora came out and the firmwares were so protected......I made about 3 pandoras... try and find someone around your area who has a hacked PSP.....
