all my whites in windows gallery and photo editing software come out like this. Its really annoying. Can someone please help?
EDIT:
Fixed the photoshop (photo editing software) issue but still getting the issue on windows gallery
that's looks like poo poo lol.. i have no idea what would do that though so sorry i can't help ya.. i don't know much about vista.. that weird that the rest of your windows look fine.. tried setting the theme to something else then switching it back?
i think i know what it is. its the RGB of the moniter. how do i change the RGB settings to match the one on photoshop
Kick the monitor a few times.
I've learnt that it either behaves, or just gives up (breaks). Generally the latter comes true - monitors don't seem to try hard I guess...
Tighten the connections of the monitor between the monitor itself and the computer. When i hooked up my computer, i had this pale blue display. That fixed the trick.
To fix the rgb of a monitor there are usually buttons on the front or back of the monitor. Hitting one of them will bring up the main monitor menu and then from there you can usually + or - keys to add or subtract to the selected value. I would also try maybe changing in the contrast.
Oh when did it start happening? Did you mess with your monitor settings? And if you open up paint or other pictures is the white showing up white or just that yellow color?
I don't think it's the monitor because you can still see white on the monitor.
I would try checking his theme settings. In xp this can be done by right clicking on the desktop hitting properties and then clicking the theme tab. I don't know how it is done in vista.
FIXED IT!!!! WOOOOOO. I HAD TOCHANGE THE COLOUR SETTINGS IN COLOUR MANAGMENT. I had to get hold of the adobe RGB 1998.icc and put it on then restart my computer and take out the power cable and vga cable from the monitor and then put it back in after 15 seconds
