Congrats on your newly built pc... I know how that feels! :D  but yeah Dell is not a good brand if you want to add new hardware.  Dell is perfect just for a family that just wants a pc to you know Microsoft Word, play music, browse the web, send email etc. But if you want to add a new graphic card or whatever.. You'll be limited. I tried turning an Old Dell Desktop into a old school computer. Win 98 and a Voodoo Banshee 12mb. And the graphic card won't work no matter what I do.. *thanks DELL*. by the day you have 4gb or ram? that's a LOT even though pc can go higher the result would be slower. Believe it or not.

Custom is the way to go.

Yeah I have 2 2048MB sticks installed that are put to good use in the 64bit Vista I have installed.
It only shows 3gigs in the 32bit XP though...Nana-o

RAM only came to $100.99 for the 4gigs after a $40 rebate, and 2 gigs was $70 that would have came to $40 with a rebate, so i just said f' it and got the 4 gigs.
But I didn't get everything all at once.... I waited a few paychecks to get some of the other components. The display, the speakers, and the 500gig hard drive were purchased 2 months after the initial build.

And with Dell, I figured they made faulty 2nd gen XPS laptops, because I found a site with more than just a few people who had the same problem with their graphics cards as me.
Check this link to see for yourself. Dell are bastards, wee all should have all been reimbursedBurning http://popey.com/My_Sick_Dell_Inspiron_XPS_Gen_2_Laptop

But anyways, the laptop was nice for portability and all, but this desktop is a million times better! Oh, and piss on DELL.

Your GPU is not that bad :)  you should also get 5.1 or better.  Gaming Experience with 2.1 is a bit bad.

Nice pc dude!

PC New:

Also for all of you guys theres a new nForce mobo *700i*which is going to future new energy saving GPU modes.  Very very nice! Only the latest GPU will have this option. Might want to check this out.   Wish I had this option would save me a few bills on my electric bill.
