i think the max for ram is 4gb ..

hmm i read this earlier, i just re-read it, its strange, and i have no idea whatsoever would cause something like this

hmm it happened to me once and it was coincidently 512 ram
my computer suddenly froze and didnt restart and kept beeping so i opened it out and took out the 512 mb ram and it worked

hang on...so you TOOK OUT YOUR RAM!?!?!

Or do you mean they were 512 sticks?
