Ok, updated some new results into the table.  EDIT: err... I fucked up somewhere... fixed now.

1). If you're overclocking by that much, yes.
2). If you really wanted that much GPU power, why not go for a more expensive one from the start (eg. 5870)?  But seeing how you have the 2nd highest 3DMark score already... do you really need it?

Was trying to run PCmark but keep getting this enoying error "D3DERR_DEVICELOST"

Could nock ProperBritish of Glory,.. over-clocked corei7 at 4.6!!

I had really have no need for over-clocking my corei7 720,. ;) don't/won't see any speed-ups in programs/games i use anyway,..

with glory i except defeat!

dang,  just traded my 2x ati 512mb 4670s for 1x ati 1024mb 4870 and bumped my 3dmark up to 13945

but games are much better.
