Well my upstairs PC GPU fan has decided its going to fudge up and start to make a real loud noise and sometimes just stops spinning all together
. So Im guessing I have to replace the GPU with another one. But the problem is that I don't know what kind of motherboard I have which means I don't know what kind of GPU to look for.

The specs for my PC

Im looking for something that is about 128mb so could someone help me please.
Get a Make-up Brush and brush the dust out of the GPUs Fan, if you don't have a brush, carefully do it with Earbuds/Q-Tips.

Good luck!
would I have to remove the entire GPU then? also thanks for the quick response
you could do that, Vaio machines tend to be stiffly built.

Your going to need to get to it, if it is too low for you to see and examine, then yes you'll have to get the card out.
ah ok good stuff. yh they are a bit of a bitch, i was installing my wifi card in it and it jus wouldnt go lol my cuzin did it in likke 2 seconds cause he has fixed some many vaios
yea Sony is a bit like the Older Dell machines having those Proprietary Custom Chassis Forms......
yeah welll hopefully it will be fixed.anyways thanks. i gave you a rep point for your help
sorry, just thought i'd push in here, kick me out if you want.

if its just the fan that's died theres no need  to replace the whole gpu. fans come in standard sizes so you could just replace the fan.

I've probably misread something somewhere and what I've just said has nothing to do with the problem so feel free  to chastise me.
ok well i was planning to upgrade the graphics card anyways so i might aswell now.

i thought this will do the job. not gunaa do any serious gaming on it, just for basic use i.e word proccessing, internet and a bit of spider solitare.

Chosen this one.
