Detective hurtween on the case:
Look at it like the life journey of the firmware of the PSP.
When it began, it was nothing more than a simple useless egg(official firmware v1.0), until nature(us/wee) realized its usefulness of being able to run unsigned eboots. That paved the way to the birth of the useful chicken(or custom firmware).:o
So what came first? custom firmware or firmware? Most would say firmware, but the truth is, the 'custom aspect' was there all along since the inception of the official firmware(useless egg), an unintentional 'power'(ability to run unsigned eboots, [hence turning the egg into a useful chicken]) overlooked by god($ony) when he devised his plan.
In future evolutions to the firmware, the 'custom' aspect was being written out by god, leaving only useless eggs, and denying the chicken population any growth.
But 'nature' found a way...... Service mode! So now all the useless little eggs could become useful again!! All it required was a little bit of patience and resources.
The chicken gave birth to the egg, at the same moment the egg gave birth to the chicken...
Funny thing is, custom firmware could either be classed as the golden egg, or the prized chicken, with the firmware giving birth to the custom firmware and the custom firmware giving birth to the 'true'(what the firmware itself really wants) firmware.
The chicken and the egg are the same! One in the same! They both depend upon and need each other to survive and come into existance. Oh my...
Detective hurtween.... this case is in the books, time to move on to another. (don't mind me, very little sleep)
