Then were did humans come from if wee are our own God?
Did wee birth ourselves?

My outlook on God is, I believe he's there and have this reason to believe
so because of past experances. But I do not believe in or go by
everything the Bible. I am open with other outlooks. Such as Buddism.
I believe in the outlooks and morals from that belief.

Interesting thoughts. I'm actually one of those Christians that other "mainstream" Christians use as an example of how someone "strayed" simply because of my thoughts on science.
I don't believe in God..   I think theres someone with power that had something to do with the creation of the human race and everything around us.  But believing the Bible and the CHURCH (which is kinda like a BIG MAFIA) They control what they want and say what its the best for them.  Is not easy for me.

I'm a Buddhist.  I guide my life with the Eight-Fold path and I live by that day after day.  Be kind and have morals.
I Believe in humanity and the natural evolution of the universe.

For example I am not convinced that the universe is expanding, mearly getting more dense and possibly that when it reaches critical mass like it has in the past will explode into a new dimension.
I don't believe in God
I don't see how, if there is a god, he can just sit idly by and watch some of the spoon that happens here. People die...just becuase...it happens, and God seems to be fine with this. I reufse to believe on the grounds that if he does, hes gonna have a lot to answer for when he meets me

On a side note, i do believe in the afterlife in that wee have the power to give a physical, or metapysical form to those close to us regardless of whether or not they exist...therefore ghosts, and the afterlife, exist, but not in contextual heaven + hell, its just there

That sounds logical to me,

More logical then the existance of a god,
god is can be anything
god is a being existent and non-existent in the person who perceives god.
people all believe an omnipotent being but there view on that perception is different depending on the person.
thus meaning not one person believe in the same god as they also have their own view on it but the all have a belief that god is related to another persons god this is why god is spread throughout the world and is popular to believe in.
people cannot believe in the god because that belief will always be different from another.
meaning no god can ever be the same and all religion cannot be th true religion as throughout the thousands of years the perspective of god is changed from person to person.
the original perspective of god is now so diluted no one can ever hope to find the truth.

look at the chuck norris facts the grow and change in 2000 years they could spread so much through each unique mind no one will no the truth anymore and he too could become a god.
this is a good topic, but if it gets out of hand.  It will be closed.

Discuss nicely ;)
@squee666, punctuation was invented for a fucking reason.
<jokingly hypocritical argument>I think that anyone that doesn't believe in god is an idiot. how can anyone look at anything in this world and say there was no intelligent design? look at the human eye, for instance. There's no way something like that could be made by chance. I think that if you guys don't believe in god you're being very closed-minded.</jokingly hypocritical argument>

(i wanted to start a flame war with UG for teh lulz, but I don't want to get the thread closed Sadist)

Also why the hell would God make other religions to fight against each other. That would just be cruel.....
