I got sick of taking a screenshot openign in photoshop, drawing a box, copy, create new file and see what the pixel count is then start searchign.
So i made a pixel ruler wallpaper :)
Red lines are center
Green line to Green line or Blue line to Blue line is 20 pixels
Green line to Blue line is 10 pixels.
Hopefully it helps you as it is helping me :D
If you think it sucks...you're probably not helping to look for offsets

GENIUS!!! nice idea thank you for this!
EDIT: it works great i don't know what i would do without this O_O
I find this very useful (I'm a noob themer). Thanks SchmilK.
oh so this would work with moving things around eh? a lot better than mine, i made a crappy one with just #'s
good job!

That explains it.
Keep up the good work.
im not looking and i don't think it sucks...i just think its useless :P
(to me, at least)
lol roberth...
I made this to guestimate:
a) what the position on the screen of a particular icon.
b) spacing between things
c) difference in movement from position 1 to position 2
d) length of text on the screen
so far ive been getting successful on finding the offsets I needed so i figured i would share.
This isn't an exact ruler by any means, but i did spend 45 minutes making sure EACH LINE was exactly 20 and 10 pixels apart LOL... YAY WORK ...
now i wish i could
a) search mutliple files at a time for questionable 32bit float
b) search a range of numbers at one time and get all results from an open file rather than 1 value at a time :(
c) knew how to program in c++ but that's irrelevant here LOL

guestimate << heheheh
this will be useful if want to dig on many offsets... think i will use this.. thanks mate

yeah, i can see the use in this
like i say though, its useless to me, as im not good with offsets
thanks!
