In california lives a man who was illiterate at a young age, and couldn't read when he was eight years old.
His teachers neglected it or said it was an emotional problem or whatever, and he would just wait for the teacher to ask somebody else when he had to read something. You'd think he couldn't keep this up for long. Well, he did. He learned to read FORTY years later, when he was 48! Surprisingly however, this guy wasn't some american moron that failed primary school and sat on a couch for the rest of his life. He went to high school and cheated his way through it to get his diploma, and he still couldn't read. He proceeded to college, and cheated even more. He relied completely on friends for all his work. After he graduated, he became a teacher and taught high school for 17 years! STILL ILLITERATE! This teacher could not read or write, yet managed to do a good job at teaching his students. He got the lesson plans orally from other teachers and had assistants write all the stuff down, which was apparently normal in that school because nobody knew he was illiterate.
At age 48 he went into real estate and went to learn to read, and could read decently within a year.
This man, ladies and gentlemen, is an awesome example of epic win. He managed to keep a secret from his teachers, parents, and a lot of other people for more than 40 years. He achieved the unachievable: teaching a class for 17 years, successfully, while not writing a word. I bet you can't even live a day without writing or reading a word. He cheated his way all the way through college and beyond. This cheater in unbelievable. Cheaters, take note: move to America, where you can teach high school for 17 years without writing or reading.
