Haven't tried it, but hope it's good :)
It's alot faster, and with the frame skip option........ :)
framerate limiting :/ what, so you can use your psp for other stuff in the background :P
I think limiting makes things somewhat smoother - IDK though.
Sparker tell us how fast?
On Banjo Kazooie, the intro feels like full speed and in the game play areas (with frame skip set to 2) It would be playable without the constant stuttering.

I don't display frame rate while playing \Erk
