I already have one for youtube, but I need a video extractor for other sites. Has anyone come across a good one? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the suggestion. I found one called Sothink Web Video Downloader. I like it a lot. Automatically asks if I want to download a video when I watch one.
IMO there is no point getting things like video URL extractors.
Most of the time, u can either get the URL out of the Website, using ur web browser (firefox, go right click -» view page info) or if u can't, just get the video straight from ur internet cache. Youtube and Veoh and such all store their streaming video in the cache. U just need to go there to fetch it.

Indeed, this one works pretty well and it also converts it to any format you want.
safari makes it easy imo
Windows > Activity and which ever is the larger file is always most likely the video or song you want...
click on it, copy it ctrl+c, window > downloads, ctrl+v and enjoy :D
i only know the firefox option and i don't use it i don't like firefox too much it always opens up when i don't want it to, like I'll be using safari and click on a link that takes me to another window and instead it opens up that window on firefox
