Okay, so wee have 3 computers at our house wee want connected on a network:

A: Main computer, desktop, wired internet.
B: Secondary computer, desktop, wired internet
C: Secondary computer, laptop, wireless internet.

What wee want to do is make sure all of the computers can access each others files in the shared documents folder. Here's what happens.

A: Can access it's own shared docs. Only sees its own shared docs When it searches for computers, it sees itself and C.
B: Can access its own shared docs. When searches for computers, only sees itself. Can not access A's shared docs, but does see them.
C: Does not have shared docs. Can access A's shared docs, but can't see B.

How can wee get them all on the network?
Buy 3 macs.
Be reasonable.
Right now I need to add 'B' to the network. How do I add a computer to a network in XP?
Just run the network setup wizard making sure they all have the same workgroup name.

NOTE: XP Home & Pro fucking HATE each other and may just refuse to talk to each other.

from comp A, in 'my network places' under 'tools' hit 'map network drive' and then browse for comp B, i think that may do it

I ran the wizard on A and B, but still not showing up. Do I need to restart or something?

And B is Media Centre Edition, A is home edition.
i guess they hate each other then
