Hmm, does this happen for other themes?  The default one is relatively complex.

I might think about a quick new thread type thing though :S

can't you just make a mirror with no css? or a theme you can select in your profile with no css or optiumised for mobiles. theres probably already a mobile-optimised theme out there or not?

Posting from nokia e61 atm... All the things where your avatar nd nick are are very wide, because the undertitl is beside the avatar or something, but the avatar is still centered (so theres a huge whiite space to the lft of it)

Way too much effort.  May as well get a simple theme.
I'm still not certain that it's the CSS causing all the trouble.  Why not try the default MyBB theme?  That's quite simple...
