Thanks for the reply Schmilk   :D

I actually ended up finding a POPS set up for 5.00 M33 that claims to be "revised".
It uses a 4.01 impose.prx in the popsloader folder ?
Never heard of that before...

Anyway when I installed that setup, everything worked perfect.
Even MK Trilogy with sound and bgm  !! (loaded with 3.11 POPS Mode)  :D

Anyway, if anyone is having trouble and wants that set up, look for it in the  "invisible place"      ;)

interesting, i have not heard of that either! going to check that out!
Yup, just checked with the set up I uploaded, and MK Trilogy does load in 3.71 pops mode as well  :)

One small bug I did notice, was if you pause the match there is no bgm for the remainder of that round.  (It returns in the next round though ;) )

MK Trilogy:  Has anyone gotten it to run with background music on PSP ?

I ripped it to .mdf format with alcohol 120%, converted with PopstationGUI 3.00BETA, and it plays with POPS from Flash, but with no bgm.

Then when loading (no matter what firmware POPS) with POPS loader, it winot even load.

By the way, I am using the correct 5.00 M33 version of POPS loader (set up correctly)
And I have a PSP SLIM with 5.00 M33-4 cfw.  (I know, got to edit my sig  :P)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

hi shizzy, i think the best format to rip a psx cd is in the clonecd format (.ccd), there's something a second audio to be rip to be able to hear the bgm, all my psx are in that format

havent tried mdf format, but when i tried with a .bin format, some games do not run in original from flash in 5.00M33-4, i use alcohol 120% (forget the version)

and use different popstation gui, mine i use psx2pspv1.4 and use some of popstationgui3.00Beta files and it works in current firmware

FF8 with change id works like a charm

You guys may call me weird, but I've played more than 40 PS1 games on my PSP in all CFWs since 3.51 and I've NEVER needed to use popsloader.
