Hi I just wanted to show you a good tut for fixing your psp without bringing to a shop for repair just follow it step by step. I used this tut to fix my PSP's memory stick unreadable problem, loose connection to the motherboard  and pins not touching the memory, when I dropped it.

You just need a small screwdriver or watch screwdrivers to open PSP, all screws are desame size so its easy using one screwdrivers. For removing the LCD or use a small cutter or use a small flat screwdriver.

Just separate the screws by step so it isn't hard to find the right one to place it.
I have had to replace LCD's in 2 of my psp's.  its easy

lol i screwed mine up. my friend took apart for me to get out broken U.M.D holder (metal bit) and he got lazy and i had to put together again. now my d pad buttons sometimes touch the screen and don't go down all the way
i have 1.7 psp's total. i.e. a complete one made completely from spare parts with a few bits left over
