You may know how to network youe home network with youe PS3 but I'm going to tell you how anyway lol


First hit start Or if your on vista like me hit that little orb :P



You should see the network tab hit that



now you can see i am networking with to PC but that's not why where here,
Hit the Network & Sharing Center tab



you can see how i set it up do the same to your settings


then win your PC & PS3 is on at the same time you can network with it

Now that i am Networked with two of my PC's

I can watch the movies on them
look at the photo's on them
& here the music on them

So why would i want to do that ..?

easy

I have a 500 GB EX drive on my 60 GB PS3
on my mom's PC she has 100 GB of free space & a 500 GB ex drive on that
on my PC i have 80 GB's of free space

so in turn i now have 1240 free GB's on my PS3 now :)

Networking even works on remote play By the way

A little bit different for my comp, and it reqs me to go through networ setup wizard, but it looks like it'll work.  Regardless, I am getting the result I wanted with Windows Media Connect.  If I feel like liquidating some programs, then that'll be one of the first to go!  Thanks Organ!!!
