10 years! no way. I refuse to believe in that, besides alot of programs are still trying to utilize the 2 cores. Now with the quad core it prolly won't even be utilized to the fullest.

It will still be a good processor in 10 years. Like my P3 PC, it can still run HL2 great.

My P1 runs Crysis great.
i had a comp based on a p2 250 mhz that i only used for listening to music. it was fin unless you did anything else. for example, if you opened or had anything else open while listening to music it would go all jumpy.
