Endless Paradigm

When quicktime is installed on my pc running vista after 5 min my explorer goes crazy!1

restarting over and over very fast so i can't get into the start menu to uninstall quicktime also i can't use programs and feature's to uninstall because that restarts too,.

I have to restart pc and hope that when powering up, starting programs slow vista down so i can quickly go into "start" menu and select quicktime uninstall,. lol

Have tried to look for a solution,..

Start up in safe mode.

But i still need to install a working quicktime,..

quicktime is installed by default on vista ?
Maybe this is causing the strange side effect on your windows , why you need it ?
for encoding videos or decoding ?

When i open the control panel , without even instaled Quicktime its there.
Try to register your copy ....

And like zinga said Safe mode will start up only few things so the windows shouldnt go crazy.

Edit : Maybe your explorer is going crazy because the quicktime is integrated in the IE.

somehow the one that came with itunes works fine... no problems here

yup. I never noticed it until I uninstalled itunes.
but I have been using it fine.

V if the problems continue , with the new version , look at aplle site , they have an magic uninstaller , the you can try to use it.

ok everything works sofar,.. but i guess when i close photoshop the prob will occur again,..

I just leave PS open,.. lool

EDIT: closed Photoshop,..... it works!! Thanks you guys!! i quess i had to install i-tunes and did the 7.5 update for i-tunes and quicktime,..
