when the rep race finishes, wee minus the initial amount from the final amount.
so its basically like wee are all starting from zero.
e.g.
dedat:  5
boogs:  3.873
diego:   6.4031

and heres a made up results post

dedat: 8 - 5                      =3
boogs: 7.873 - 3.873       =4
diego: 11.4031 - 6.4032  =5

so no one is advantaged or disadvantaged when wee begin, wee are all even.

Well that totally is abusing the rep system. The rep system is there to show appreciation, not for games. :S
