That's impossible since this doesn't touch the PS2, it only exploits the PS1 save function of the PS2
It doesn't touch the PS2 firmware, and so cannot "brick" your PS2
Is it plugged in?? :P

a troll trying to discredit? he just registered minutes ago.
Indeed, there is no way trying to softmod your ps2 could brick your ps2. Find a better excuse for why you fudgeed up.
i tried to hard mod mine and it is fudged!
also, i would like to point out that the Memor32 can be used as a comprimise for the AR max, so if you have a friend that owns one and would like to softmod your own fat PS2, the AR can be ignored assuming said friend is nice
Just thought id add that whilst the topic is bumped

What did you try to do?
Just install a modchip?
Depending, it might be fixable, ive hard moded a few PS2's before

AR can also be ignored if your friend or somebody you know already has a modded ps2. then you can just copy the files to your memory card that way.
Isn't there a memory manager that works over a network?
Or i suppose you could just buy the game they used if they softmodded
By the way, how would you load elf files on a hard modded PS2, unless you used this exploit still?

well i did kinda open it up and messed around inside. it was an ancient thing anyway.
so you don't know what you did then??
Or you do, but don't care?
Opening a ps2 is really easy, and if you ask me it would be hard to break it.
