For 3 days I am going to the most redneck place I've ever visited, my grandparents' house. They are in a small city called Graceville, Florida. The average age for the whole city is probably about 55. There are like 3 cops in the whole place, and there are MAYBE 4 black people in a 100 mile radius of my grandparents' house. EVERYONE is in church on Sunday, and every family has at least one preacher in the family. It is literally a real life version of Mayberry from the Andy Griffith Show. Every year I go there at least once or maybe twice and have to deal with my redneck relatives (on my mom's side, of course).
It may not sound so bad, but it is sooooo boring. My grandparents have 3 TVs, 2 of which were from the mid to late 80s. No wireless internet, and they just upgraded to cable internet. They spend all their time watching sports or doing jigsaw puzzles. Every night wee play a game called Garbage Can Rummy for about 3 hours. At least I got Final Fantasy 8 on my PSP last night and now I will have that to play while I am there. In fact, I've always done that; I buy a new game or something and play it almost the entire time I am there. If you want to live a longer life, go to Graceville, Florida. Every day there feels like a week. Won't one of you please come with me? I am leaving with my parents in about 20 minutes for the 4 hour drive to my grandparents' house.
