OK, so recently , i set up my xbox live, and it's on my local wired network. the network has 1 pc, which is on most of the time, 1 laptop, router , and 360.
But whenever someone else in the house is using the internet, if it's on the laptop or PC, it's slow for them, and will cut me out of games on Xbox Live.

It's fine when there's just one user though. What can i do to fix this? it's so annoying when I'm playing Team Doubles in Halo 3 and i get cut out, then i get bad rep and stuff for leaving the game early!

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!
same thing happens to me.
I think its just how much the ISP would provide.
lets say you have a 512 kb/s speed.

when two computers are on, its split in two, both 256kb/s

it happens to me alot and it is annoying
only fix I know is get a new ISP/
possible solution: unplug everybody else form the net.
lol , tried.
This is the type of setup I have here,

The only differance with my setup is that I also have the PS3 connected wireless,

Even when the PC, Xbox360 and the PS3 are all on none of the devices get the problem you say about,
damn, who's your ISP and what speed you got?
Virgin and its a *Insert bad word* connection,
Hmm, i got Virgin too.

mines 4mb.

Possibly my router
?
Not sure the only time my connection lags is if all devices are downloading something at the same time but even then the xbox360 does not get disconnected from xbox live,
Hmm.
so i guess you don't have the 20mb connection package.
I have a belkin router, but i really don't want to ring belkin up because they'll say it's my ISP, and i already spoke to my ISP today..

Grr.
I don't want to fudge out another £60 for a router though.

What router are you using?
