Okay when I place 01-12 on flash0 on my XMB the icons under the settings and network tab disappear so is there anyway to fix this?
I'm using a custom set of icons I made and a Fat PSP with 3.71 M33-3 with 1.50 kernal addon

The XMB uses a certain amoubt of ram,. the 01-12.bmp is often to big and that's why icon's disapear,..
You have to test/make a 01-12.bmp after you finished the theme,.. then you be sure the 01-12.bmp will fit,..
Yeah the 01-12 you gave me worked and it was probably was because it's dimensions were alot smaller then the 01-12 I created.

Well i know this one worked on the bleach theme,.. but i spen hours and hours,!!! to get the highest posible resolution for the 12th month picture,.. when i use this 01-12.bmp in my foster's theme icon's disapear,.. so its not really posible to give a correct answer or make a tutoriol cause all depends,.!!

I do have some custom 01-12.bmp's wich work and look cool,.. if you download my new sonic theme there are a few in the extra folder,.. try the red black one its really cool!! (just colors no picture's,.)
the icons itself disappear due to bigger dimension higher than 64x48. (limit your ICON SIZE to 64x48) and your good to go using 480x272 01-12.bmp
now if you go higher 64x48 in dimension of your icons you should lower the dimension of your 01-12.bmp in order to prevent disappearing of icons.
now if you done this little observation of mine and still having white box or disappearing icons try to lower the size of SYTEM_PLUGIN.RCO

But in got 140x123 resolution icon's and no sub icon's,.. i can't use a custom 480x272 01-12.bmp .//
Its really a matter of trial and error,.. cause if you want to add glow icon's you have to lower each icon resolution to fit them in,.. as you say some guide lines and play arround with some files,..
I htink you could also replace the transparent bmp in topmenu_plugin to free more space up for a 01-12.bmp!?
yes it's really a matter of trial and error but those three files is tested on me following 64x48 icons, 480x272 01-12.bmp and lowering the size of system plugin rco. i forgot 1 thing wee should also delete the shadows and glow in the icons also.
