anyway i don't like animes that much but elfenlied (zinga burga's avatar ;p) really got me. couldn't stop to watch it and "wasted" one whole evening watching it ...

Naruto is good but its far too overhyped. Its got nothing on the ones I mentioned, they're all legions above Naruto, except maybe .//Hack SIGN >_>
Also the English dub makes me cry. Naruto's voice is just unbearable.

Yeah, Naruto is probably overrated - though I haven't seen it. It's usually associated with Bleach though, and I believe Bleach is way too long... but looking at Naruto....

Still need to see Rozen Maiden (downloading Traumend) and .hack// series. Will probably watch Cowboy Beebop next though.
I'm somewhat anti Haruhi and Elfen Lied (even though it's my avatar :P). Dunno, but I understand why they're popular, but I didn't enjoy them as much as most people (I found Haruhi's storyline somewhat dull, though there were many interesting ideas; for EL, found the drama rather fake and repetitive). Both are still great animes, but I found that I liked other ones.
Oh snap I forgot Chrno Crusade. I feel so stupid >_<
Though I only read the manga, although I am looking into watching the anime.
