Age of Empires 3 and Warcraft 3 are not installing on my computer.
I know they can play on it because I have installed them before. Wee had to get our computer hard drive formatted, so they were obviously taken off.
But now, they will stop during installations and give me some sort of error.

For AOE3, one part of the game will be being installed, and I will get an error saying that the file can't be found, and to make sure that it exists.

For Warcraft 3, it will stop mid-way through and say a certain file is corrupt.
Both games are being installed via bought CD's.

Computer specs:
Windows XP SP2, Media Centre Edition, version 2002
3.07ghZ, 504MB RAM
Geniune Windows
NTFS file system
Enough free space to install. :p

Here is a picture of the AOE error.

i dnt know for AOE3 ...
WC3 - the problem might really be with the disk ... i suggest dloading ;)
it may be literally what the message says - it may be missing. my dad had this issue and it turned out his memory was faulty so when some files were being read they could be written corrupt so the game/program wouldnt be able to find the file. if it exists however it may be something more severe.

I found that, and tried it, but still no luck.
I feel like I may have downloaded the wrong file though...

By the way, how was the memory faulty, and how did you fix it?
lol why you black it out like that.. its just a web page.. not like its your hershey kisses collection on your desktop... or is it lol... anyway... i don't know about aoe but i have warcraft3 and ive never ever had a promblem with it... actually blizzard makes good games... coding wise.. maybe not on par with John Carmack but who is lol... sound to me like either your hd didnt format right or something is corrupt... maybe ram or maybe hd itself.... i had one that would patially work in kinda the same way... its hard to say really...  no other software gives you that problem?????
I blacked it cause the link is still there to the warez site, and I accidentally left it non-blacked on QJ, so I had to make this quick.
Then they assumed it was ISO's, and locked the thread.

Anyways, I am going to try 2 things.
First, I am going to copy the install disc to another one, then use that and try playing with the other one.
Then, if that doesn't work, I am going to see if the installation works on a different computer.
well wee kept seeing errors like missing or corrupt files - this continued until one day he couldnt boot the system. so wee did a full check of the memory and discovered numerous errors. te memory was shot and had to go - it still technically worked but was basically untrustworthy.
those are 2 good ideas to try - i suspect it will install fine on another machine but it wouldnt be the first time ive had problems with original disks.
silly question - you checked your cd/dvd drive was clean yes? (as in the laser is clean) if you have another drive i assume you tried installing from this?
