I don't understand the hipe how bad vista is,.!?
Every OS got its bugs and still has,.. when i had xp i had alot of bugs too,.!? then sp2 came out and there were less bugs.
And like every game you need a faster PC to keep up with new thingy's,.!?
Don't expect a xp to run fast on a p3 500mhz,.!?
Offcourse xp is more stable!?
Anyway Vista is a completely different OS then xp,..

A new game looks and plays way better than a game 7 years old. So that's incentive to play it, when the 7 year old game would run better. (Within limits ofcourse, E.g, i would never play a game that needs a $4000 machine to run propperly. It fails.)
Vista has nothing over XP that i care enough about to entice me to sacrifice my speed for.

i agree with V1...theyve had 5+ years ti work with XP, and a year, perhaps 2, i forget to play around with Vista. Of course XP is going to be better tweaked than Vista, but in 5 more years, vista will be far better than XP ever was...

yes exactly. but I am happy with vista right now! I have a 1.66ghzC2D processor and 1gb of ram and I have absolutely no lag or any signs of it being slow I love vista. . . faster than my XP at least. . . but If I get a new PC I will install XP gamers edition.

I hope they update Windows XP x64... Currently the best version of Windows for performance...
