Endless Paradigm

This is only a maintenance release which fixed a critical bug in iR Shell firmware patch.

Bug Fixes:

    * Fixed a critical bug in the iR Shell firmware patch which results in unable to launch UMD in XMB and also causes various incompatibility issues with other homebrew apps & seplugins. Just apply the new patch and all issues will be resolved.
    * Fixed a bug in Contect Menu which wouldn't allow you to choose "Select" or "Start" menu items.


Installation Instructions:
- If you've already installed iR Shell 3.8, download iR Shell 3.81 Update which only contains update files. Unzip it and merge to your existing iR Shell installation and apply the new firmware patch.
- If you haven't installed iR Shell 3.8, download iR Shell 3.81 Full Release which is a complete distribution with all updates included. Then, install as usual, don't forget to apply the firmware patch.

I use my PSP as my remote for my TV!

im on 3.71m33-3 and irshell rocks!

step 1: Download PSARdumper M33 from here: http://irshell.org/showthread.php?tid=371 (follow the readme to install it)
step 2: Download the official Sony 3.52 firmware update Eboot. If you don't have it, google it.
step 3: Put the Sony 3.52 firmware EBOOT.PBP in the root of your memory stick.
step 4: Start up the PSARdumper once. In the program you will have a few options. Choose SQUARE.
step 5: After you finish, you will boot back to the XMB. Now either use USB or iR Shell's directory view to go to the ms0:/F0 folder which will get created in the root of your memory stick. Look inside the ms0:/F0/KD subfolder for sircs.prx
step 6: Now copy the sircs.prx to the ms0:/IRSHELL/SYSTEM folder and your infrared remote codes should work.

So now im confused...this can't be how to get it to work on slim, as slim still has no ir port

ok I just got confused for awhile/ /

I checked my ms for that prx and it wasn't there.
so I checked my flash0 and it was there. . .SO I am still wondering how it got there if sony removed it from 3.71 and im on 3.71m33-3


and it mist be for psp-1000 since its the only psp with IR. . .

maybe DAX included it in the 3.71 m33?
