Guys ive search this site but there is no tutorial on how to put my rco icons into a ptf format using sony theme editor... ive tried it once but the icon extracted from the rco when transfred to sony thme editor don't give me the right color and a good image thanks...

i would really appreciate if you could help me thanks...
First layer icon's 64x48
Second layer: 48x48 glow icon's:64x64
third layer 32x32 Glow icon: 48x48

What i did:
I loaded all icon's into rco editor
Then extracted all icon's
Then deleted all except the .gim files and load the gim files into sony converter,.
sori for being slow but i can't understand the layer ang glow part... i know ill use photoshop for that but im not that literate in photoshop can you make it clear tnx...

and about the rco extracted part and deleting all files except you said the .GIM files when i extract the icon there's only DAT MIG BMP files no gim...

if its not to much to ask vegetano can you make a tut or a very clear and step by step procedure...on how to do this...

thanks for the quick reply and hoping that you can help me again tnx...
mig file are gim files when you browse for the gim file in the ptf make type * into the box and hit enter then select the gim file

and yes i meant the symbol *
when i select the file type ther's no * only image file (bmp tig gim)
here throw this in the folder with your gim and it will make them all mig... just put it in the folder with them and run it and that's it.. just a batch re-namer...

Ehh when you extract all with rcoedit 1.15c you get gim files instead of mig files,. so just use either,.!?

Squee means when you have .mig files you have to type * in sony converter when you want to load a icon.(mig file, gim shows up in sony converter)

As for making a icon in photoshop >> icon tut in the tutoriol section,..

Resolution's you have to use:
First layer icon's 64x48
Second layer: 48x48 glow icon's:64x64
third layer 32x32 Glow icon: 48x48
yep^^ you need them to be a certain size which is most likely the problem
first layer = top 6 icons
second layer = sub icons such MS and camera
third layer = system icons sush as under theme settings
