Ok, what about the header.
I have an original vshmain.prx from my f0.
Then i decrypt it and edit decrypted one file.
Then put both decrypted and original file to prxrecomp folder, run it and it errors god damn.
ERROR cannot open file.

What I'm doing wrong?

As i see you are using PRXrecompres by Takeshi or By S_King because takeshi tool is always giving me the same eror.File can't be open or something like that.I seugest you find S_King PrxRecompressor v0.4,and then find a good header like Ac_K said.

gsmoke, yes you're right, I'm trying to use takeshi's tool.

seems like i can find s_king's one, but i absolutely have no idea about the header!

ok, s_king's stuff works, even compressing something, but.

my compressed file is smaller than orifinal, i.e 110kb instead of 115.

i put my original 3.71 as a header, and modified decrypted one as ELF, do not touching radio-buttons, pressing "create compressed", its ok.

then i put compressed vshmain to my flash and then psp wouldn'tlike to boot, some umd sractches appears.

what's wrong?

The size is ok... i tried it out and your vshmain works!! :yes:

Is the only thing you have changed the black font color???


Tip: Don't overwrite the old file in flash0 !! Delete the original first and then copy yours into module!! otherwise it may be corrupt!!

BieneMaja, in fact I've been overwriting my files. Is this very bad or not?

No, fontcolor is not the only thing i want to change there, i also want to change background color.
Maybe it changes somewhere not here and not this way?

I tried to delete file from f0 and put compressed file i made by myself and it doesn't work.
And your file works, man. How weird.

Now, when i come to themesettings-color and rolling around there, i can see ONLY the right bar (and text) changes exactly how i want to my psp looks as, but bgcolor doesn't change! There are still those standard pinks and blues. Really, i don't want to them, i want to have a clear black-grey-white psp.
I mean i want that gradient appearing as bgcolor!

Still have 2 questions:
1) How to damn compress that prx by myself? Which header and which software (and how) should i use?
Now using PRXcompressor_v041 and original 3.71m33-2 vshmain.prx taken from my f0, doesn't work.

2) How to change background colors which i can choose in themesettings-color menu?

PPS: PSPersonalize_v1a-kxploit makes an "80020148 The game could not be started" error.

Hmm, I thought s_king's compressor only worked for 3.5x PRXs - I guess I'm out of date :P

If you wish to do it manually, you will need to take the header of an encrypted PRX (~PSP), and append a gzipped copy of your modified unencrypted PRX.  I think the encrypted header is 0x80 bytes long, but you should check that.

I don't know why your computer doesn't like VB files (though vshcol is written in VB6 and runs on your computer).

Is this the wallpaper or the background colour for "context"/"infobar" menus?
For the former, 01-12.bmp is the key.  For the latter, it's in the vshcol editor.
