In case any of you haven't heard, there's a massive wildfire raging in Southern California. I just found out something horrible: my grandma, grandpa, aunt, uncle, and cousin are all trapped in the path of the fire. They've shut down all of the roads, and they're in one of the driest parts of southern California. My other aunt is trapped in Santee, another really dry area, and if the flames change direction at all, they'll head straight for her.
Please, people, pray to God or Allah or whoever you worship to please keep my family safe. :S
oh spoon that sucks D: i hope theyl be okay! well i live in sweden so i am not effected by any climate changes really. anyway, hope they will be allright

I'll keep praying. I hope it all turns out ok.
yeah i was actually just gonna make a new thread about this, i live in san marcos right next to CSUSM when i was awoken at 2 in the morning to have to evacuate my family, i stayed until wee actually got the official call from the 911 recall thing, it was pretty crazy i came out because i couldnt stand the noise of the damn santa ana winds and cars, and there was a fire like prolly 3 miles away from where i live, back in coronado hills which is right southeast of where I'm at(directly behind CSUSM) so that fire was 100% contained an hour ago so my fams is coming back tonight, but anyways I've been through this before 4 years ago with the cedar fire, though it didnt directly affect me (it was pretty far away) i still felt i needed to do something and help, and right now the best thing to do i what MG08 says pray pray to whatever you believe in because I've been watching houses burn all day on TV and saw a bit of the damage of the coronado hills fire here so please pray for the less fortunate who have already lost their homes and are being evacuated as i write this.
i will pray for anyone in its path
Yeah, I lived in Rancho Bernardo during the Cedar fires. The smoke and ash was so bad that wee had to leave. My little brother has bad asthma and he couldn't breathe. But those fires were about 20-30 miles from where I used to live. These fires are right by where I used to live. I'm just thankful I don't live in CA right now.
by the way, something odd I noticed is that these fires are exactly 4 years after the cedar fires, same week and everything.
yeah well the santa ana winds arise roughly at the same time each year, and the local plants need natural fire, for more infor read this
here it names and explains several plants native to califronia that depend on natural fires, yes its sad that it has to happen, and i do regret that humans have made the mistake of making homes in the middle of these types of habitats, but all wee can do is pray and hope for the best, so anyways hey MG08 when are you coming back, back to cali, cali?
Let us know what happens. =\
