Holy spoon....

my brother's friend (he just recently moved from CA) just gave us an update: apparently his whole old neighborhood is gone. As in nothing there. As in completely burned to the ground.
Wow...

Best wishes.
Hope he's got insurance, otherwise he's screwed. Insurance should cover up some of the loss.
No, they moved out like 6 months ago. I hope that the current owners have insurance, though
^ Uhh, home contents insurance?
i pray to about 166,000 gods (me being hindu) so u got a ton of blessing comminf rom my ends
LOL that's A LOT of gods. . .

I pray to my one and only God (me being Cristian) that no one lose their homes and that everyone will be okay.
i don't pray im non religious

i just say by the will of chuck norris it will be OK
lol thanks everyone. I just got some great news: my grandparents got out of Valley Center :D I don't know how, (my mom hasn't told me that detail yet) but I'm just thankful they aren't stuck in the driest part of southern California. Right now they're staying at Thermoboss, my grandparents' business office in Escondido, about 20 minutes away. It's all office buildings and iceplant, so there's nothing to burn :)

Also, my friend Grant and his family went to Carlsbad, and my friend Steffi and her sisters went to their dad's house by the coast.

My Aunt Shelly is waiting it out in a Hyatt Hotel in downtown San Diego. How, you may ask? Well, right now, as she's going through school to get a teaching degree, she nannies for all these rich families. One of these families went to the Hyatt, but they still have to work, meaning they still need a nanny, so my Aunt gets to take shelter in style :D

Basically, everyone is safe, but there's still the risk of them losing their houses, so please keep praying
Glad to hear your family is safe :)
