Endless Paradigm

After the change of the compression of the images in the rco´s of the new firmware , you know all the themes are now more than 2 MB due to thing stated above.After a while i guy called Organ, came with a theme CBT Black Window,and he said that the he compressed all the rco´s without the topmenu_icon , wich is probably with the new compression from Soni.Then i made some tests and i found this is true,

No need to edit the rest of the Rco´s with the new version of RCO Editor, the old one is doing fine , compressing the images and saving flash0 space....Sadly this is the only space it saves.The VSH memory don't change , i tried to add the apllecor infobar , and compressed the rest of the Rco´s and end up with missing icons,even some of the ones under System.

So you can safely edit all the RCO´s except the topmenu_icon with the standart
RCO Editor from Zinga.

I still use PTF's.

I think this should be on the Costumization section...Diego i saw people combining PTF with paf effect and its looking good.

Make & re compress custom 3.71 rco's


ues your paint or photo tool to make the (.BMP's)

put them in open 3.71 RCO's http://vegetano1.endlessparadigm.com/3.71.rar

using ZiNgA BuRgA's rco Editor http://endlessparadigm.com/forum/downloa...load&did=6

take your new custom rco's & re compress them using Resurssiklunssi 0.3 http://vegetano1.endlessparadigm.com/Res...si_0.3.zip

I can't Organ , i just imagine that Soni made the new compression like that only for the topmenu cause they was making their Theme Creator=PTF , maybe this way PTF works ,but only for topmenu.

using ptfs is far easier than having to remake your rco's every time a new firmware is released imo. the only time i would consider it is for one of those extreme themes like applecor.
