O_O  I use them for school though - don't have much of a choice.  Sometimes use .xls cause Excel's a pretty powerful and easy to use app (yeah, there's better around, but usually have a steep learning curve which I'm not prepared to take unless I'm specialising in that kind of job... satirically, I actually am studying commerce).

Yeah, WMV sucks, but then, so does AVI.  I think MP4 will take over AVI, though MKV is currently the best container... Erk

well i use OOo for all my school stuff, including spreadsheets which i need for business studies now and then. but I use opendocument standard for saving them, if i need to send them to school or anything I will save them as .doc or .xls but its not that I use them. ima try if I can use knoppix at school from now on cause it just works faster and I can use my own files. I probably won't be able to connect to the network storage, but im not using that PIECE OF Spoon anymore anyway (i lost all the work i did in february because the server crashed, and these fudges didnt make a backup)

Wow, they must be some really dumb f^Cks
chinese pieces of spoon. i wrote down the dates of the files i missed, they would go and recover it and all i got was everything EXCEPT those dates, so they didnt back it up, let alone use RAID or something
