Try the last pandora cementerioV3 , make the stick and make pandora, then start it up, and you should be able to see the option Make Nand Dump.
By hombrew i guess Idstorage can make you a copy of the nand, but if you have full brick , you can't run the app.
So its better to make it with pandoraV3

Generally, just backup up your flash0 should be suffice?
You may still need Pandora/<DAX's one (why do people have to come up with exquisite names that no one remembers?)> to fix some things though.

I believe the NAND dumper code is basically taken from some homebrew that used to be packaged with HEN.
Although I have no idea whether or not a dump from that program would be compatible.
So yea, your best bet is to make a pandora battery and do the dump that way.

even if you found a homebrew that can make a NAND backup, the problem will be restoring that backup if you get a full brick, and since you won't be able to run any homebrew with a full brick, you'll need pandora any way

Too lazy? I don't think you care enough if something happens. I beg of you to backup all that you can as soon as possible. It can truly be a life saver and you'll be glad you did it. Besides, you have so much to gain and virtually nothing to lose. You can just save your memory stick contents and put them back when you're done nand-dumping. Just please do it.
Edit: Here's a link to a nand-dumper that you can use without all the battery stuff. OpenPSP NAND Dumper

this OpenPSP NAND Dumper, does it make a physical dump or a logical one ??

I don't really know about that. . . but what's the difference?
