i used the pandora battery and ms for recovery of psp
but when it formatted f0 ,it stopped.
so i used the nand of friend's psp ..
now my umd doesn't work, the mac address is the same as my friend's
how can i recovery the idstorage ....how to do it,thanks
NEVER use another persons NAND.  .. . the mac address is like for the wifi. . .

ise idstorage cleaner by chillywilly. . . and restore IDSTORAGE>
BEST thing to do is restore a BACKUP of YOUR psp

Do you have a backup of your idstorage??

I doubt this will work but it`s worth trying:

KeyCleaner from Chilly Willy does wonders...

Here is another magic tool for fixing macs

http://www.noobz.eu/joomla/news/wifi-mac...fixer.html
I've never backup ...
but if recoverying success, first thing is to backup my idstoage and nand

Edit:wow,wow,mac address recovery success- -
but the umd can't use still
LOL

You should have done that first :P

I know the mac address fixer WILL work on your wifi, I`ve used it before

I`m not that sure with your umd. Fixing the idstorage with the keycleaner might work on that.

Edit:
Another thing I can think of doing is REDUMPING the nand of your friend and trying to reflash it to yours again.
Sometimes a dump isn`t clean and can cause problems.

No matter what you do the mac of the wifi will also be cloned. But that's what the tool from n00bz fixes! :)
i will redump ......though mac address recoverred,i can't make sure that it actually works

Edit:is the 1.5 custom Firmware do not use idstorage?can i downgrade to 1.5 ,then up to 3.71 m33-2?
try wifi to see if it works.
1.5 still uses it. . . all FW's do. ..
Currently no way of fixing the UMD as the various keys for fixing it are not found yet as far as i know.

Restoring someone elses NAND dump is a silly thing to do.
I'm sure that wifi can connect the internet with acesspoint, but never test in ac hoc mode
- -i want to solve the umd problemT^T

edit:do something in hardware can be fix the umd?
yeah I think I saw a tut on -hacks a tut on how to fix UMD drive. . . .
