And this is the reason people should download the orignal packages and follow the bloody instructions.
Easy installers are seldom easy.
I see no reason why you shouldn't take the easier and less time consuming way if it has the same affect.
And by the way when I put my battery in it comes up with a black screen and no light. Unsuccessful? =\
As UncertainGod said, "easy" installers are rarely any easier than doing it manually. Plus, by doing it manually you gain a bit more knowledge of how things work, which at least makes you more knowledgeable should something happen, like your case now.
I haven't used Pandora, but I know there's two necessary components, the battery and the memstick.
I like pretty pictures.
Seriously, Zingy's right, you should always try going through something once by yourself, that way you know how to fix it if something goes horribly, horribly wrong. I use installers only once I feel comfortable enough doing it myself, basically, I get lazy.
I usually DO go the harder way but right now I simply don't have the time to be taking out time to read 50+ steps. Now if it were summer than wee'd talk..
And yet you could have done ten pandora's in the time it has taken to moan about a 'easy' installer not working, weird huh?
Read the part where it said I was lazy.
